Skrmn,
don't have them but looks like a good idea. Just be careful with anything you buy from eGlide as they have had some exchange/refund problems in past. John

Is it just the replcement hardware to attach our current lowers, or is it all brand new lowers - not painted?  If so, could they be added to a Road King?

MrsWe, it has to be the stainless hardware pictured, for that amt. of $$$.  I am interested, but would like to be able to see the parts in the flesh to see quality.  Don't want my lowers becoming loose on the interstate in traffic.  ??? har!  :drink: spyder

No Kidding.  I lots of times use my lowers to rest my feet on.  Easy on and Easy off is of great interest, to both Jamey and I.  His, like yours, do not vent so it is time to take them off for the summer.  But it would be nicer if they came off easy, but like you say, as long as while they are on, they stay on.

Who is making the kit? Eglide doesn't make anything that I know of, they are a distributors (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Is it just me or would that make it easy for some slime ball to steal them.  Really how often do you remove the lowers, and on the road what do you do with a set of lowers??

This is an idea that should have come from harley IMO. The first time I took these off I said there should be a way....I take them off by May and not back on again til October. But with a quick release system, that weekend trip that is almost sure to encounter a thunderstorm according to the weather channel might be nice to throw them on... :)
