Roger,

As you know I had the chafing of the harness occur. While at Bellingham, they pointed it out when the tire was off. I guess because they saw it with yours they did not investigate why this occurred. I thought it was suspension/shock related, with a (bump)stop in the shocks failing. Both Billings and Bellingham as well as St. Paul felt I was overloaded.

In the end, Kamloops found the broken fender support that allowed the tire to contact the inside of the fender and atherefore, the wiring harness and the seat nut....they were the sixth dealer to look at the bike.
