OK enough of this BS! Back to business!

Today's update:
I went upstate Fri night to break the bike in. I picked it up Fri evening and went to Troy to meet member Gav at a local joint. The bike felt good, but needed some minor adjustments. We did that on Sat morning and Gav met me at Joe's. We rode up to Bolton's Landing on Lake George and around that area. I musta woke up the Break-in Gods, as it poured about every 45 minutes, which let me cool the bike off many times that day. Put on only about 250 miles because of the rain. But man, the bike flies!!! And I think Gav can attest to this!
The bike pulls, and pulls, and pulls some more! Straight up to 120 and beyond! But check this out. I can ride it at 2000 RPM too! It's pulling 110 Ft-Lbs at 1800 RPM! The bike is an animal, but extremely ridable! I got up early on Sun and took the Northway to the Lake Placid exit by myself. I rode to Lake Placid for lunch then continued all around the Adirondacks and put on another 350 miles. I was smiling all day as I took this thing up and down thru the RPM's throughout the day. Haven't taken it over 5000 RPM yet, but I think it'll keep pulling beyond 6500 RPM if I let it! Got it up over 120 several times when the roads allowwed. The bike is solid like a rock with the Traxxion, True Track and E3 Radials, and left me with confidence to ride at speed! Not one shake or wobble ever! The Adirondacks are a fantastic place for riding. Saw many bikes on the road and ran into the end of a bike show on my way back down. I got a few pics, but not many as it was basically over when I got there.
Joe's doing a WOT baseline run with the V&H/SPO's before installing the FatCats. I'm afraid this that will be the last time I've ridden with that exhaust system. It's definitely too restrictive for this engine now. He'll tune it again with the FatCats, then install an S&S 54/56 mm TB to make sure we have the right selection of TB on the bike. But all indications are that the 58 mm TB will be staying on. It showed absolutely no signs of being oversized at this point. He's expecting between 135-140 Tq and at least 125 HP! I'll be doing cartwheels if that happens.
So this has been dragging on since mid-May. But while riding it this past weekend, it seems worth all the effort and $$$ I put into it! I'm really looking forward to picking it up when it's finished and really seeing what it can do! Stay tuned folks!
Hoist!
