Given Harley's history on success of first year innovations during their first year it's probably not a good idea to be messing with mission critical systems in such a way anyway.  Still nice to see them finally taking first steps in that direction though.  When the red bike is finally ready for softer pastures it can retired in favor of a regular day to day bike that has ABS.  Until then, no big deal.

Well, maybe my 2008 addition will be to upgrade the bag locks to use the extra fob, although the idea of carrying two fobs is not real exciting. Being able to work the bag locks without the key would be really nice.

Well, Chief, at least it'd be a way to carry a backup battery for your keyfob (assuming they both use the same size battery)  har!  :drink: spyder

C'mon Spyder!!!! Do you really think they would be that logical? The remote for for the locks probably uses a D cell.  :D

Well, the salt from my tears combined with drool on the 08 paint in the showroom will test the clear coat on these new babies is all I'm gonna say.
