Thanks for the tip Laker. I emailed JG Specialties and they sent me a bunch of pics of their bracket with a note that they'll be shipping the new on in early February.  He also said they're going to increase the bracket back plate from 6in to 10in.  This looks good and for $48, I'm probably gonna order two so I can put my chopped and full size 05 SEEG tour packs up on the garage wall.  At this price, it's not worth trying to make one.

Thanks again.

JRW

Hey JRW,

I am not far from you...just south of Taunton.  I am interested in one of these also for my 2004 SEEG...if I combine my order with yours that would be 3 towards a group order.

If WFP would make three, Mr WeCVO and I would need two, so they would have sold five from this one site.  I just want to make sure I understand, I am slow at these things, sorry and thankyou in advance for your patience..

He will need one to fit his 04 - H-D P/N 53107-96 (This is the King Tour - or does this matter?)
And I need one to fit my stock 05 - H-D P/N 53276-04

Laker, Not one of much if any upper body strength, what was your feel for putting the tour pack on the rack?   A.  Pretty easy ---- B.  better get a stool ----- C.  better let Mr do it for me?

Wow, this is really timely for us. Thanks everyone for all your hard work, and I just get to walk in and reap the benefits. Once again.... I want to thank Naitram.  What a great site.

I bet it is too much to ask for one that also works with the Stock Passenger Backrest as well as the King Tourpack for us 2004 SEEG Owners?  3 Scenarios:

1.  When using no backrests or tourpack, put the backrests IN the tourpack and hang it.
2.  When using the Tourpack, hang the Passenger Backrest
3.  When using the Passenger Backrest, hang the Tourpack

Now I may have to make my own since thinking about this if the above version didnt work!

Being that the passenger backrest is relatively light, I imagine that you could just lock it onto the bottom two pegs and let it brace itself against the wall. That would be the easiest and cheapet solution. I will check it out tonight and let you know.

Laker...is yours set up a Rider Backrest vs. a Passenger Backrest?

Your detachable brackets appear so much smaller than the one on my bike.  I will have to look when I get home.

nevermind, that is what was discussed previously regarding the differences between 04 and 05.

Thanks,
Bill

Hey  guys,
This is a non- Screamin Eagle owner that makes all of the wall brackets.  Thanks for all the good words on the new brackets.  As far as the discount and trying to determine which sales are from this site I'll just give everybody the discounts until Feb. 15 2005.  Just let me know that you heard about them from this site.
This is what I have to offer: Tour-Pak 05, Tour-Pak pre 05, Passanger Back Rest,Two -up Luggage Rack, and Road King windshield, and Heritage Softtail windshield.
With the discount, the price  is $ 40.80 each plus shipping.  When ordering Tour-Pak mounts make sure of what bracket you have. I have both. You can contact me at ,

john@jgspecialties.com                            Thanks again, John  (Road King Classic owner)

Well we can see by the big inch package that you are moving in the CVO direction....momentum is building.  BTW, welcome to the site and thanks, John< for a long overdue, well made product.  Can you get it in chrome?

Welcome John and thanks for the discount.
Do you have a bracket that will hold the tour pak and the backrest in the same unit?

Might I suggest that you place a post in the selling forum on this site?

I just picked up the 05 version of what John is selling. The same rack will accommadate both the tour pack and the passenger backrest. The passenger backrest doesn't fit perfectly but good enough for me.

Another angle. The front doesn't sit on the pegs but the locks hold it securely in place.

Any one know how to get in touch with JG specialties?  I traded emails a while back but haven't had any luck since.  I've sent emails to the original address and also to john@jgspecialties.com and also to the phone # he gave me in an earlier email.  Nothing?
