Ayuh, that's for sure. And K-Port's as good a place as any to get the true flavor of Maine, just a bit more expensive than say Belfast or Ellsworth  :D

B B

That's the truth Brian, I knew you had spent some time in K-Port before.

Hi Dave,
Drove up in the truck. We went up to check out a couple of places for the wedding reception and the little woman didn't want to ride up late Friday night in the rain on the V. She said, "if the bike were bigger we could take it" so sooner or later we'll be upgrading. ;)

Ge'ez Ed, we were almost around the corner from each other!

How did you like Fosters? That was one of our two choices for our "memorial lobster dinner". We ended up on Badger island, as the crew had had about enough driving.

Most were not up for a 320 mile in one day trip, especially with the emotional memorial at the GWB in the morning, plus it being in the high 90's, right up until we hit that torrential downpour in N.H.

Hey Duane,
Fosters is real nice. Donna had scheduled a meeting with the owner so we got the complete tour of the place and dinner. Great food, real clean, staff was very friendly and very New England traditional clam bake. It's at the top of the list for us right now. We have a few more places to check out but we both really enjoyed it.

How did the ride go? It was a tough day weather wise. Did Badger Island workout? Sorry I couldn't meet up with you guys.

Ed,

I'll be doing a complete trip report under rides shortly, but for now, Badger actually worked out quite well. It was close to the hotel and since the evening weather was not the greatest (no rain, just dreary) we had the "dock" all to ourselves, 24 of us. So it was just fine. Lobster In The Rough on Badger and Fosters were the only two places I called that would take a group and guarantee us seating. No one else was interested in serving 24 meals.

They had a welcome sign out front for us and it went smoothly from that point forward.

That is LTBawb on the right (05 Teal SEEG) and me on the left with an "unknown patron"

Sounds good Duane, glad it worked out. Look forward to reading it.

LOL! Yes you do, at sometime. She's already seen the pictures of Terry's bike and thought it was pretty sweet.
