Same here........laptop with Vista and desktop with XP.  I cheated and hired the Geek Squad to come out to the house and get it all set up.  It was a challenge for them, too.  He had to make a couple calls to the technical gods.  So the GEEK Squad would be my tip for this issue.

I run a conference centre and in my experience the Vista users wish they had stuck with XP.   After saying that I saw my first Apple Mac the other day and blimey, there is no comparrison, the Mac was brilliant AND it was fully compatible with the Microsoft programmes.
