I had an interesting exchange with the MOCO rep at a state HOG rally today.  She is riding a road glide and I complimented her on her bike and we struck up a conversation.  I say I am hoping the '06 touring CVO bike will be a Road Glide for next year and she says "don't hold your breathe".   I say I am listening to you.  She says I can not talk to you about future MOCO production plans.  I say I understand but I was hoping the next CVO touring bike would be the RG and she says again "don't hold your breathe".  Reading between the lines this tells me it won't be the RG in '06.  So if not I get to keep my bike which I am happy with anyway and either save the money or spend it on a softail fun around town bike in addition to the RG.  Anyway I will wait till July and see what get's announced but if this conversation I had today was any indication there won't be a new touring bike in my future for a while.

Rsantucc, not sure about your reference about folks having nothing nice to say.  Do you feel like I offended you in some way in my prior posts?  If so none was intended and honestly I can't see anything I posted that would come close but let me know if you think I did.

I also have an option to buy a RED 2005 SEEG in CT but passed it up ***cause I really want an ULTRA SEEG. This is why I am so confident that there will be an Ultra SEEG for 2006. ***

I'm with Otis on this one!

Or have I missed the point?

Does this mean that if I really want a 120 motor in my S/E in 06, then there will be one?

Or maybe I need one of those cold ones! [smiley=laugh.gif]

Well found a brand new 2005 RED SEEG at my dealer just 5 miles from my home. I loved the color after seeing it several times since my last post. I paid MSRP and frieght they did not charge for set up, NICE  [smiley=laugh.gif]. I added another $4K in Options and went with the Freedom pipe Package. Pick it up next Tuesday the 24th of May 2005.

Also I provided another $1K deposit as I do still want the to ahve the 1st 2006 SE, that as I stated before and hope that it is an Ultra Classic COV. Will post pictures once I pick it up.

Again Thank you board for allowing em to see alll the great looking 2005 RED SEEG's as this helped me determine what options and features I wanted for my new added ride to my collection.

RS,

Good for you!  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Dean has obviously become a lot more customer friendly then he has been known as in the past. My brother had a NY dealer do an inventory search for him a few weeks ago and the dealers in Upstate New York are all slammed with available bikes. Inventory levels there have never been so high..........of course SEEG2's are still in very high demand. My brother was offered any bike "but" a SEEG for $1000.00 off MSRP! [smiley=shocked2.gif]

Good luck and have fun! [smiley=laugh.gif]

O'Fender, that's my point!

Glider, It's probably somewhat selfish, because that's what I want.
