Check this out. It is an EPA filing by Harley discussing for 2006/2007, a water cooled engine.  2450cc  Click on Harley presentation

Yeah, 'er 'uh, hd2003,
Very Interesting!  Actually, I'm stunned and amazed!  [smiley=shocked2.gif] I guess the remark I made in jest, that the "New Bagger" would be a FLHTCUIH2O, will, in fact, be a reality. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]  What a drag!  [smiley=cry2.gif] The EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) Diesels I market, have certainly been introduced to the market place prematurely, in my opinion.  Lots of PROBLEMS!  This disingenuous regulation creates MORE heat, in an Engine that was already operating at temperatures detrimental to Engine life!  [smiley=wacky.gif] This so-called fix to the bullchit Global Warming, hole in the OZONE, dooms-day predictions by the "tree-huggers", holds about the same amout of water as a tennis racket. [smiley=goofy.gif]  Reminds me of the lunatic walking the streets, with a placard that reads: "The World Will End in 2000!"  Then, when it doesn't happen, he just changes the date, and keeps on walking, back and forth.  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] Later--HUBBARD

Naaaaw........you're looking at this all wrong.  Just think of the 'potential' for unlocking all those pent-up horses looking to get out.  No way you can go wrong w/ more cu. inches (as long as the size and weight is not outrageous)  Har!    [smiley=biggthumpup.gif]   spyder

Great find on this epa site.  Good job on that.  Looks like then they are talking about an FLHT bike with a production of 10,000 including Cali.  Makes one think it would be a CVO Ultra with this water cooled motor despite the use of the word Heritage in the description.  Very interesting.   Looks like I just saved a bundle because I will keep my tricked out FLTRI thank you.

I hate to be the wet blanket but did you see the word [bgcolor=Red]theoretical[/bgcolor] stamped on the page prior to the data pages with test dates in 2007 and 2008?  I think this is just an example of what the new document would look like.  I could be wrong but 2400 CC and 1200 LB Curb weight?  5 Speed (no reverse mentioned so it must come with a free body buy Jake video) and it has a plastic fuel tank. Put me down for 3 of em!  NOT!

All the bike mags are professing a big announcement next month regarding a "NEW big-twin H-D Model".

If my source is right... it will be a chopper (a REAL one, not a thunder mountain).  Only about 5 years too late  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I think your source is right.  Should be interesting with HD trying to compete in the chopper market with a detuned, marginal performance 103, peeling chrome and cookie cutter paint jobs.
