MR WECVO how about cutting back on the smileys, Your post is to much trouble to read. I think sometimes you have good stuff to say, but after the second smiley, I move to another post.
My 2 Cents, and sometimes my 2/cents upsets some of the ladies here.

Hell I'll go one better!! I removed my fairing and placed it securely on a table with a blanket under it and all was well, Dog came in and thru the wonders of levers and leverage her tail hit the table which shook and commenced to cause the faring to slide like a slow motion horror flick to the ground!!! after telling the dog to remove her ass from my foot I picked it up. the fairing was scatched and scraped and looked like crap. being a poor man I invested in a black bra and hid my shame like the Elephant Man. not I have a brand new FLHTCIUPOS and never looked back, but I will never assume  everything is right and level in this world!! Thanks to all for posting your experiences. I thought I was the only one that made those kind of mistakes. I was on a poker run for the MDA in LaCrosse, WI. last labor day weekend. I was riding two up on my old 2000 Wideglide when one of our stops was at a little bar that had a dirt and gravel parking lot. I already knew that dirt and gravel was a problem with that little thin 21" front tire, and when I saw some of the bikes pulling off into the grass just short of the parking lot I followed suit. I was just about stopped and was turning the bike around in the grass to park headed out when under the cover of grass my front tire found a sandy area. It sank in an inch or two and being that I was almost stopped and in a turn you know the rest. Between myself and my girlfriend we managed to slow the decent of the bike to the ground and nothing was damaged but my pride in front of all the other participants. Not a one of them said anything or helped us get it back up, which in a way was good. It was as if no one noticed my error, and we continued on the run.
