Only problem there is he's had the bike three years and just moved the backrest in July....... ???

That is probably the cheapest way to feel like you're riding a new bike after three years! :2vrolijk_21:

I had the same problem w/the backrest on my SEEG. Once I found out it could be moved back and I did that I now can use it. It will definitely be appreciated on long rides. :2vrolijk_21:

Funny you mention that before I started using the backrest on long rides I would slide up on the passenger pillion to stretch my legs out. On my recent trip I forgot about the backrest being back there and tried sliding back only to be quickly reminded that it was back there. :huepfenlol2:

1500 Miles in 2 weeks and the seat is very comfortable.  I like it better then the pillow seat my 99 had.  I never liked Corbin seats.  I like a soft seat and a soft mattress.  This one is harder then the old stock pillow seat, but softer then any of the Corbins I've tried.

The driver backrest has a funky lip at the top that gets anoying after a couple of hours.  I have a bad back so I have to have a backrest if I'm going more then 20 minutes.  I'll probably get a taller backrest if this one doesn't break in to be more comfortable.  I have adjusted angle and height to no avail,  but I haven't tried moving the whole mount forward or back yet.  Have to think on that.

Finally, I thought the electric heater didn't work.  Turned it on... Nothing.  Same with the passenger.  Didn't really care cause I have no plans to use it, but for 35 grand I'm playing with all the switches.  ;D  At any rate, turns out you have to turn the accessory switch on the fairing cap on before the seat gets power.   :nixweiss:  What's the point in that?  The dealer offered to rewire it, but as I said, no plans to use it so I don't really care, now that I know it works.

Best Regards,
JC

P.S.  The granite is smokin' and it doesn't show the road grime nearly as bad as the black.  The finish is smoother and easier to clean too!

This is common occurrence on the SEUC and it's been hooked up wrong from the factory. There is a "Y" connector under the seat that you are able to plug something in to be controlled by the ACC switch w/one of those connections and the other is hot all the time. You just need to switch the plug around and then the heat for the seat will work w/o having to turn the ACC switch on.

I think I'd use another adjective to describe the 110 motor when it comes to looks. You can change to smokin after 4k miles. ;D ;D ;D

What d00d said...they have it hooked up to the wrong connection...not a big deal to change at all.

You just THINK you won't use the heated seat...it's like so many other things in life, you don't know you can't live without it 'till you've got it.  If you've got a passenger, she will LOVE the heat in the seat.
