On a somewhat related topic...I have dealer installed billet saddlebag latches which, when lifted, have managed to chip the paint on both saddlebag lids.

Well,
Add one more  [smiley=cherry.gif] to the list.  I noticed a spot that looked faded a while ago and didn't thing anything about it.  Just washed mine and the inner fairing has a full finger print (just above the left speaker pod, I wonder if Harley is going to finger print all of their painters to find out who did it)) and a palm print behind the windshield.  Just got back from the dealer,  no problem (I think the Factory knows there was a problem)......Just go to the place you bought it and they'll take care of it.

I guess my question is...Why haven't I noticed this before???  I did notice a small blemish before,  but once I went looking for it,  I found a whole palm print behind the windshield.....Am I that blind????

And the good news is: dealer just called. H.D. was skeptical. Rep. called back several days later and said that there's been several similar problems and that they'd warranty the fairing. God bless my service rep!!!
