Any leads on California CVO Ultra?
« on: August 24, 2007, 01:05:54 AM »

Although I have one on order at MSRP, but as some of you already have experienced, waiting is not easy to do.  Not too sure my patience will last - this will be my first CVO bike.  I have called around Socal to a few dealers.  A couple dealers have the Canyon Copper/Stardust Silver available at 2-3 over, but I am hoping to get a White Frost/Silver Mist or 105th Anniversary color.

Anyone know of any bikes available in California at MSRP?  Thanks...

Not sure of their availability but please call Woody or Gary at Antelope Valley H.D. Got my '06 $500.00 below MSRP from them. The # is 661-948-5959. If you tell them Dave King refereed you it will help more than hurt. Wrongway

Saw the candy cane ultra on the floor at Sweetwater HD in San Diego area.  Looked like it was marked at msrp

I've seen two of the "Strawberry" CVO Ultra's here locally (NORCAL), but none of the other CVO colors yet.  :nixweiss:

One at Bob Dron's in Oakland, but do NOT recommend them as they usuall mark up CVO's $5K+. and the other at the Cycle Center in Fremont. If you want to know what Fremont is asking I can drop by and see if it's still there and how much etc. PM me.

Thanks Joe, most of the research I have done says that only the Copper Canyon (redish-orange metallic) and Silver is available right now.  Several "live and on the ground" bikes are available at rates ranging from MSRP-$5K over MSRP.  The dealers at MSRP have high set up fees and additional freight charges which amounts to nothing more than over MSRP.

I have a deposit on one at just one dealer.  I know guys place 3 or more deposits in different stores hoping one will deliver.  I don't think I want to do all that.  I'll just try to be patient and wait for the one dealer to come through in Sept. - October.  I really want one of the other color combos anyway, and since they aren't out yet, I would have to wait anyway.
