Got my 2007 110 ultra back yesterday. So far so good. Dealer replaced O rings and gaskets... Cross anyting that will and wait. Failed at 4998 miles.

Russell it looks like you have both an '07 & an '08?

Careful, most states depreciate the value based on expected life in miles.  In Mass its 25K, in NH its 20K.

I made the call today, apparently one part was on backorder (replacement of the cracked Y-PIPE)
They were waiting for it to arrive, it came in last Friday!
My bike was put on the work schedule and they are working on it now.
It should be done before the end of this week -IF- no unforeseen issues arise.....
Looking forward to getting her back!
She only has 14,411 miles and about 6 months left of the warranty.

Day 28.....the Owner Satisfaction survey arrived in the mail today, the bike is not done yet.

The survey is gonna reflect my feelings for the Sale & Servicing Dealer as best I can since this issue is not of their making.

The segments of the survey that deal with satisfaction of the vehicle is another story!

Boning up on the NH Lemon Law, after 30 consecutive days of captivity I have the option of Petitioning the state RMV for Arbitration or continue dealing directly with the manufacturer via the dealer under the warranty program.

Seems like I am in for a bit of runaround either Way :drink:, any one ever experienced the process? :sauer007:

I read that in NH (Where I bought the bike, it's Petition within 24 months of purchase, the settlement is based on {miles ridden/40,000 times purchase price}
14411/40000*$35,000= $12,610- depr net refund $22,390+ plus (taxes, tags, title fees)

In Mass where I live petition within 12 months similar depr formula  (MILES/20,000*Price).

Dealing with the Manufacture, what ever you can strike for a deal............... :cherry:

11222 miles and it leaks called dealer on the 20 of May They recieved the repair parts on the 23 and say they need the bike for 2 days at the most to replace both gaskets and seals. The SM said that harley said to watch for more Teh reports in the future as they are haveing problems with the 110 Duh     Billy

Purchased 09/23/2006
Color, Lightning Blue Pearl and Midnight Pearl
I also purchased the 7 Year Ext Warranty
Leaking head gasket found 05/2008 while in the shop for failing heated grips.
Bike also suffered leaking intake manifold a couple of months after purchase.
Waiting for parts to come in. 
I am told, they are aware of the problem and have ordered all parts needed to correct. I will let the forum know the outcome once repair is completed. I expect mid June.

The problem you could have and has happened to many of us, is that once apart, the tech notices the liner issue.  Now you have to wait weeks while your bike sits in the shop.  As I ve stated many times, a bad design is one problem, but no spare parts to fix it is worse.  After two years of a known problem, they should have ramped up spare parts.

  Thanks that is my fear , i tried to tell theSM about the other problems he said don't worry maybe he has more than one bike. I love mine just hopw things go well. I will see next  Wed.   Thanks Billy
