5000 miles:

2 headgaskets
1 ignition switch
3 relays
1 transmission (not received yet on order from mo co) Factory rep said replace it 2 weeks ago.

The service manager rides it more than I do.

Well you will have to give it some more time but I wish you well. All of the gaskets are cometic. Some have said they are not but I've seen them and the are. I had mine done first at 11k miles, now at 32k miles. My latest mech did mention that he felt they were not assembled and/or torqued correctly. He's replacing everything on the top end, cylinders, heads, pistons.... etc. Says the heat could have damaged all of it.

Good news today was my crank runout was only 4 mil. So he will be installing gear drive cams.

For those interested, my cam tensioner shoes were worn about 50% at 32 k miles.

I think that's not bad. 32K on the tensioners w/50% wear. I can live with changing them at 50K. Sounds like you have a good dealer to work with you too cd. Good luck with the new top end!

So, if you are a 110 inch owner, please respond only once with only this information.

10900 miles since fix all is still well

3000 miles and it looks like I have just a slight amount of oil showing up off the rear head gasket area.

5300 miles and no leaks.

Need a new painting on the frame (Rust on the welds)
4k miles : leaking head gaskets, pistons and cylinders, starter out, rocker boxes noisy :
Replacing Both head gaskets
Replacing both cylinders, both pistons, rings.
Not come back from the dealer since the end of June 2007.

I pick up my bike yesterday afternoon.
130 miles later    : new leak at the base of the rear cylinder

4200 miles - Rocker boxes clearanced and rear cylinder leaking. Replaced gaskets. Also, drive train noise is like wow....loud!
5100 miles - rear cyclinder leaking again. Extreme loud noise coming from rear of inner primary gear area! Regulator has gone south.
(I do have a good HD shop, so I'm confident that they will take care of the problem(s) once a resolve is found)

After contributing to the leak poll detailing my positive results (my response woke up the gremlins), I went for a ride. 52 miles into my ride the oil light came on, I know I had oil due to my pre ride check, 2 minutes later the noise. Sounds like the motor is filled with stainless steel balls, so loud you can't tell where in the motor the noise is originating. I am currently waitng for the bike to be towed into the shop. Also, with the noise and oil light I noticed oil weeping from both the bottom of the rear cylinder and from the base of the rear pushrod. Update Flywheel is so twisted wrench unable to remove cam plate Motor Company wants motor shipped to them by dealer. September 04, 2007 Motor Company building a new motor for my bike will ship in one week.
04/20/08 Rear Head Gasket failure (not weeping oil, spewing oil) on the crated motor sent from the Motor Company with 5899 miles on the crated motor. I can now state "the rear head gasket failed with less than 6000 miles on the last crated motor, therefore, I do not see any advantages of waiting for a crated motor to remedy leaking gaskets". Simply put, inferior design, and inferior parts will create an inferior product.

2000 miles, hot,hot,hot, no power, noisy rocker boxes - Reinhart tru duals-pcIII-zipper ac. cooled down and power returns------5000 miles rear head gasket gone, new cylinders, pistons, rings,gaskets,rocker box clearances. 10000 miles I hope we have it this time

Now at 6000 miles, no leaks. Just completed a 3000 mile road trip and it ran like a champ  , running at 75 all day. Top end still relatively noisy even though dealer had clearanced rockers, or at least said they did. Had crank runout checked a day priot to leaving and they had measures 2 thou at the end of shaft so I thought " good to go". Now I'm going to give it a little less TLC and see what happens, now that most of our riding season is over.

If I'm not mistaken, 2 thou runout is double what max spec calls for.  Check your service manual.  -Retail& Steve

The spec in the service manual is 3 mil.
