I keep reading this thread, expecting to see a pic of you with a great big smile & Cybil.  Maybe even a blurry pic since she is gonna be damn fast.  Lots of delays suck - figure she will be done right when she's done.  That's what counts in the long run.

Hey Mike, I'm hanging in there. You guys should be able to also. I got my bike last Jan. I managed to get 8800 miles on it throughout all the grief. I spent half the year working with buiolders and designers to get everything right. To date, I still have nothing. I'm OK. It'll come together. If I haven't blown my brains out over this yet, you guys should be able to hang a little longer. ;)

And I know you wish you can see the final product. But be careful what you wish for ya'll, it might come true! :o

Since you guys are on the subject of cam blanks I have a question about them. Do you know if the guys who are grinding them normally heat treat the cams/lobes after they are ground? I've heard that it's important to re-harden the lobes afterward in case they grind through the hard surface. I'm not sure if this is factual information or just an engine builder trying to scare me away from taking a similar route to what you're doing.

Also, maybe I missed it, but did you look at any of the Woods cams? It looks like they have some close to what (I think) you're going with. Was there a reason you chose the cams that you did? Thanks in advance!  ::)

PS -Not to get off the subject, but I sent my KTP off to Gene/Pam yesterday.  :pepper:
