I've searched the web and you have the closest build on a 110...I'd just use the map as a starter and there's a guy in nashville who is supposed to be a real tuner.

The quote below is the piece that got my attention. Now that I think about it, it's probably a spacing issue with the Timken conversion. I was thinking that you were trying to make an early flywheel setup work in your machine.

If it's simply an alignment issue resulting from the Timken conversion, that should be relatively easy to overcome, in which case…..never mind. :)

Thanks Brian! I figured I'd let it slip down awhile. There's nothing new. In the waiting stage for the parts to come in. I'm gonna try to do the WG first, then concentrate on Cybil's engine after the holiday's. Then I'll get it back up to Joes. I'll ride it like it is til then. It's like a mid-season break! ;D

Time to bring this back to the top. Slight change in plans. Vern called. He has the new cases, but HD is breaking balls and wants my old cases back now. I'm dropping the bike off today and the engine comes apart this week. So, we begin the rebuilding process. Timkin conversion and new flywheeels. Then rebuild the entire engine. I can't wait to get a real engine in this bike so I can stop worrying about when it will break again! I'll be rebuilding the '85 FXWG when the SERK is completed! :2vrolijk_21:

Todays Update:

The motor is completely apart now. The new S&S crank came in. Boy am I glad we're doing this! I told you my crank runout was a total of .010" total, after measuring both sides on the truing stand! And man does that really suck! :nixweiss:

The HD Tech also screwed up the cases at one of the studs too. I'm using new cases for this build, and now I'm really glad I did too! The new crank runout measures 0000" on the comp side and .0005" on the pinion side! That's what our motors should have in them. This is a Timkin only crank, and we'll be doing the conversion for it on the new cases.

Sending the heads, Axtell barrels, and CP Forged Pistons back down to Wes. He'll go over the top end parts and make sure everything is up to par. One head had a broken fin from shipping damage last time. I used it anyway, but wasn't too happy about it. Now he'll fix the damage before we use it again.

Wes will also make the CR595 cam in a gear drive for me. I decided to convert to the gear drive because Vern isn't to crazy about that chain setup. He said it's better than the old system, but still has way too much drag on it for his liking. I'm doing as he recommends.

The SM that took care of me at that new dealer quit already! He's back at the dealer I originally bought my bike from. So guess what? After all this, I'll wind up with the remainder of my 2 Yr W.....ty anyway! The engine from Vern, and the rest of the bike by HD (except the brakes and suspension)! How's that for irony! ;)

More to come in the following days and weeks. I'll be there tomorrow and try and get some pics. I'll also be documenting adding the detachable paint-matched King TourPak with 6.5" Speaker Pods, the new Audio System (front and rear amps and speakers) connected to the Zumo 550 with XM/weather & traffic alerts, and the new Xtralights HID H9 Headlight.

But after all of that is done, THERE STILL WILL NOT BE A FAIRING!!! EVER!!! ;D

This bike has become way more work than I could have ever imagined. But it's now become my mission to get it perfect. After all, nothing more important than Binx' comfort and safety! ::)

Who needs a fairing when one of the toggles on the nacelle will control the new anti-static wind resisting quantum theory standard model graviton control field with accessory Screamin' Eagle bird zapper?  Chit, Cybil is a half assed dresser wannabe with tunes and nothing much left original to warranty anyway.  You need to spend less time trying to convince yourself that the path it has taken is ok because everyone else thinks she's going to come out the other end as a pretty cool bike :huepfenlol2: .
