Today's Update:

Received the TP Rocker Boxes and Roller Rockers today, along with the Dragonfly 6-1/2" Speaker Pods for the KTP. Everything for the KTP is in already,except the TP itself and the LED TP Spoiler. When I get those 2 pieces, I can ship it all to Gene for paint and assembly. :2vrolijk_21:

I'm going to Vern's tomorrow, to drop off the parts to him, and check everything out. I'll also get an update from Cycle-Rama and Feuling on my remaining parts status. There's a real possibility of this getting done by the Holidays!!! :jalapeno:

I'll try to get some pics of my bike in a million pieces. That should get a rise from ya'll and give ya something else to break my balls about! ::) ;D

Todays Update:

The Timkin conversion came out excellent. Vern was very happy with the results using the Jims kit and tool. Left side is locked in. Waiting for the Feuling case bolts to button up the lower end. Wes is making me new gear drive cams, and will send my complete top end back within the next 2 weeks. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Completion by the holidays might be pushing things, but it'll be soon enough now! :2vrolijk_21:

That's good news.  Had been wondering how that new "anyone can do it" bearing conversion would look and work.  Congrats on progress.  Really glad to read it's moving along.

It's been awhile but here is TODAY'S UPDATE:

Was at the shop today. All parts are in except the CycleRama stuff I'm still waiting on. I spoke to Wes today. He tells me he's still waiting on the Cam Cores from Andrews, to grind my custom cams with. Once he's done, he's shipping back my heads, piston assemblies, barrels, and cams up here so Vern can finally finish this project. Wes tells me, that with any luck (which I haven't had much of these days! ::) ), he'll ship by the end of next week. But I should be seeing my completed bike back in Jan sometime. :2vrolijk_21:

I'll might trailer it up to Joe to get retuned. Still debating whether to do that now, or in the Spring. I'll be redoing the WG after the SERK's done, so I'll probably keep the SERK til the WG's rebuilt. This way I'll still have a bike up! ;)

I hope this thread is helping folks on their quest to conquer HD's mess of a 110" engine on your '07/'08 CVO's! I wish ya'll a Healthy and Happy New Year and many more years of trouble-free riding after completing your 110 Upgrade Projects!

You know the routine as well as anyone Scott. Now Wes says by next Fri. The wait goes on. He wants to replace the pistons too. After seeing what was done to them, it's not worth messing with. He'll get the new ones and fit and clearance them to the cylinders properly. I'm calling him again tomorrow. Thanks for asking.

Don't bother calling tomorrow...he is on his was to Calif. tonight for Dyno Drags with a customer he built a bike and motor for...he is flying back Sunday red eye.  He sent me this today...  Scott

Wes is back from CA. He took first again in the Dyno Drags HP Shootout! 188 HP! They're gonna send me the Dyno run. :2vrolijk_21:

They're getting back to me on my parts, but they should be one this week. Waiting to hear back from Wes again. ::)

He never did send those Dyno runs! :nixweiss:

But my cam blank cores finally shipped. Wes should have them this week. He'll make grinding my cams a top priority, and should be shipping everything out to me by next Tuesday! :2vrolijk_21:

With any luck, we'll be assembling my new 110" motor in two weeks! :jalapeno:
