I have/use the Dekker Supreme, but looking at your avatar I see you're on a CUSE and I believe your rack wouldn't be big enough for the Dekker. I would try one on your rack before purchasing if possible.

Take a look here:  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=14652.0

I have this bag, and though it's not as "fancy" as some you might see, it works perfectly, is waterproof without a bonnet, and holds a lot of chit, plus more on top.  Recently used it on a 9 day trip with good success.

With the small rack on the 06/07, some bags look too big, and are WAY beyond the capacity of the rack/TP in weight.

I have a Dekker Supreme that you can try on your bike if you want to take a little jaunt over here.  You could probably borrow it for your trip, if you wanted to.  I don't plan on going anywhere next month.

Sorry, I should have said I have a King Tour Pack ordered for my CVO.  Tired of the cute little leather one.

I have the dekker supreme and the small rack on my tourpak, everything worked out great on the last trip, only thing I might do is cut a piece of plywood/luan and replace the bottompiece with something a little stiffer.

Thanks, appreciate the offer.  I am counting on several thing coming together to even be able to use it.  I have the King Tour Pack on order, supposed to be in about the 21st.  I have the rack & liner for it already.  Hoping that if it does I can get by with the CUSE backrest from the Leather Tour Pack temporarily as we are going to Corbin to get a seat & backrest made for us in November.

Odds are we will go this trip with the Leather Tour Pack & the bag we use for it now.  Time just isn't on our side, decided too late to order this stuff before our trip.

Thanks

I have the kuryakyn trunk roll bag which is like a clamshell. It has a rain cover and holds ample items. It is very convenient to use and allows you to pack your tourpak with clothes and use the Kuryakyn bag as an easy access trunk. Nice sturdy velcro seal. very waterproof. Survived 6400 mile trip out West this Summer :) Fits nicely on CUSE leather tourpak rack.
