Can it? Yes. Would i do it? No. When you are in the wind the way the low frequencies travel you just don't hear them. The key to good sound on a bike is lots of clean distortion free power. The low-mid, mid, and high frequencies are the most important. The main design of the hawg wired system is to provide just that. Imagine being able to understand AM talk radio at 85 mph. That's clean power! The HW system with the CX speakers do provide a much "fuller" sound than the stock setup.

Having said all of this HW amps do have a sub output that runs to one of thier satelite 75 Watt amps. This single amp could run an 8" or maybe even a 10" woofer, either in the TP or a saddlebag. This will make for an awesome sounding system while your in the garage and going down the strip at 20mph but other than that?????

I think this is the key issue. You just wont hear the low frequencies in the open air. The key is to have a good amp and speakers that can raise the volume cleanly. Putting two speakers in the lowing fairing can help a lot.

This reply doesn't have anything to with the subwoofer in the TP, but I saw a guy that had a custom TP made that was a dog carrier.
