Well I didn't plan it this way, but now I have 2 builds going at once. Vern from North Shore Motorcycle in New Hyde Park, NY is doing both of them. My SERK is described under the "Cybil" thread in the SERK Section. The CVOing of my FXWG will go on here.
The new RevTech Driveline came in. 110" Evo engine; 6-speed splined shaft transmission; complete primary assembly including heavy duty clutch assembly, comp sprocket, inner and outer primary covers, chain adjuster and chain; 1.7 kw starter; all the hardware and miscellaneous stuff. The new WG front end should be in anytime now. The forks will be sent to Traxxion for the AK-20 when it comes in. The BiTubos have shipped from Italy, and should be here soon too. I told Dan to hold them til the forks are done, and ship everything together. The new PM calipers, Russell floating rotors, and new hand and and foot controls should be here soon too. The rear Thunderstar wheel showed up today. Hopefully we'll have everything for the bike in before Thanksgiving. Then I'll bring the bike in for the rebuilding. I'll keep you guys posted!
I thought about this long and hard, and decided I loved this bike too much not to make it new again. You can't get this frame and it will make for quite a unique bike. Anyone can own a Superglide. But only I can build an '85 CVO FXWG!

Hoist!
