110 To a 113 Cubic Inch Question/s
« on: September 25, 2007, 09:35:56 PM »

 Hey Guys,
Got a Screaming Eagle 110 and what the biggest bore that these jugs can be bored out with, and piston size,  and company that sells them??
Going from a 110 to a 113 or is there larger sizes etc. etc.?

Went thru this whole routine already. You can't increase displacement without splitting the cases. You'll need to bore the cases for bigger bore. Axtell, or anyone else, won't supply larger bore cylinders with stock spigot case holes. Definitely not worth the trouble to only go to 4.06" cylinders (113"). You can also install larger stroke flywheels once you are splitting the cases. I'd probably go with 4-1/8" bore and 4-1/2" stroke if I have to split the cases. This wasn't worth doing right now, but will be done if the bottom end grenades itself! ;)

So if it grenades you'll have the new engine warranty replacement, the bored grenaded engine and the S&S 124.  Damn, how many motors can a guy mount in one little SERK!  :huepfenlol2:

My engine isn't bored (only I am! ;D ) and they'll get that engine back, completely stock. So a 2 engine SERK is all I can muster up Don! ::)

Just seeing the image of that wide dual V-Twin engine is enough to remind a guy of a special fondness for bow legged women ::) .

Your getting generous in your old age!
I was thinking two weeks.
That event should be good for another 1750 to 1900 post. (well not counting yours or my response)

But I could be wrong! (remember, don't believe everything you read on the internet)
