Yeah me to       Most  people where I live  carry GUNS legal or not  Mostly concealed
Your best defense, Is to be aware of your surroundings  Dont get caught slippen(street slang,For not paying attention)I go to the range 4 or 5 times a month,But as most of you know if someone has the drop on you,Dont be reaching for your gun.  Timing is everything ,dont let adreniline get you killed,Use your mind,think and react to the situation. What Im saying is #1 if there trying to ROB a biker,there comin at you guns drawn and in a hurry!    When your getting gas or leaving a bar or anywhere for that matter ,Keep your head on a swivel and know who's around you  GOOD LUCK

Its not a safe queen, put 150 rounds though it the day I got it.  Put another 150 though it the following week end.  Shoots like a dream,  the slide is smooth as silk, the trigger is great.  A lot like my Ed Brown Special Forces.  The gun is far more accurate than I am.  It has not had one hick-up.

As for Carry, it will be an occasional Carry, I have a Milt Sparks VMII for it.

My winter carry is usually my Les Baer Stinger, a Commander size.

Summer is usually my Kimber Ultra CDP, a 3" barrel .

Anyone own or had any experiences with a Glock Model 36? It's a single stack .45 making it a slimmer carry gun that I think I'm interested in! I have two full size Glocks and like them a lot! Too big to carry with out a long loose shirt or a jacket! I usually carry a Keltec .380 in my front pocket during the summer.

Today I played around with a Beretta A400, semi auto shotgun. OMG , you could carry it if you wear a trench coat, but that thing is chambered 3.5 and shoots 6 shells in less than 3 seconds. Great weapon. Awesome review here.

Don, did you get to shoot it? If so, did you try a weak grip to see how it cycled?

25', right out of the box, 3 mags,no cleaning except, just made sure the barrel was clear.

Do you live in one of the socialists states that have a 15 round mag limit?
We have a guy in Jersey making legal, 15 round AR mags, $20.
They are 20 round boxes permanently modified. You can't take them apart for cleaning. Really not that big a deal, just compress the follower and load it up with Brakleen etc

And I figured out how to permanently modify a S&W M&P 15-22 mag into a 15 round limit.  

I recently got a non New Jersey compliant AR.
AR's are tough to come by here, especially Jersey legal versions. Jersey has the stupid evil features statue. Most of the dealers in the area tell you a 2 or more month wait.

One of our dealers out in the backwoods has given up getting stripped down or fake AR's (bushmaster's version) and gets whatever he can. Then sends them to a gunsmith to make Jersey legal.

I walked in there few weeks ago with a list of 6 AR model part numbers I was interested in.
Turns out #2 on the list was sitting in the rack, already modified and waiting for a sale. The original purchaser ordered it, waited 8 weeks, had it modified - and then didn't pass the NICS check.
Yeah!

The top AR is one of the evil ones, M&P 15, "detachable box magazine" with - pistol grip, flash suppressor, adjustable butt stock, +15 magazine (30).
The armorer replaces the suppressor with a comp and pins it. Pins the butt stock in the position you want, permanently alters (meaning the floor plate is pinned) the P-Mag 30.
Really opens the realm of possibilities for us.
