Did they really get away with requiring all their employees to do that?  Seems like that should have been 'challenged'.  :o spyder

They were. The AMA even got involved. Don't know if there was a resolution or the outcome. I just remember reading all the outcries about their policy, and the subsequent boycotting campaign.

I only carry when in the lower 48. When you have a S&W 50 that is considered bear protection in Alaska. When I carry, Glock 10 and my wife XD 9.

Holy Crap that was funny... 

Back in the day I used to shoot on a team for my battalion in "The Division Matches", rifle and pistol, two week long affair, anyway, it was still the .45 in those days...and the armorers would file the sears down to make them pull lighter for the shooters, one handed stance shooting. 

It was not uncommon to have a pistol go full auto for 7 rounds.  One day it happened and the last round put a hole in the brim of the Marines cover.  He was scared chitless, but managed to pull off a "hey that was cool" move and must have cleaned his shorts out of sight of the rest of us...he had the indentation of the sight in his forehead.   ???
