We left at 6 AM this morning and got home at 9:30 PM PST.  My wife was up before me at 5:00 AM and couldn't wait to get there.  It was a long day and well worth it, the bike is beautiful - my wife and I just love it.  Thanks again to all of the forum members who have had so many kind words of encouragement.

It had 8 miles on it at pick up.  We decided to trailer it home in a covered 6x10.  I had the heavy duty "D" ring plates installed at 4 points and a front wheel chock  and used the Pingle (sp) tie downs with the fleece soft ties.  It was a good thing we drove the truck and trailered the bike home - I was exhausted.

Mitchell's HD was great.  We decided to buy the 7 year extended warranty (5 + 2 it comes with) at a nice discount.  This dealer is very fair and great to work with.  Many thanks to George and Lidia.

The black "Onyx" is metallic and has a lot of metal flake in it.  The copper is a few shades darker than the standard Anniversary colors.  Looking forward to our first ride tomorrow!

Here's the bike ...

We need MORE PICS!!!!!!!!!  Those are the first decent photos of an anniversary bike I've seen.  Yes, the copper does look darker than the non-CVO anniversary bikes, which I think is a good thing.  The others look a little too light to me, but that Ultra looks sweet!

                                                                                                             MORE
Congrats, again, and don't forget: :worthless:

Congrats on the new bike being home safe and sound!!  The CVO colors look MUCH, MUCH better than the regular anniversary models.  I like the darker copper color a LOT better.  Would like to see some closer up pics in the sunlight.

Thanks, at least we know the battery won't go dead easily!  :D

I'll get more photos up today, but it looks like we are going to have a huge weather change here in Socal this morning, looks like we're going to get some much needed rain.  More photos to follow after work today.  Thanks...Dog
