Looks awesome, First good pics I have seen. Really happy the copper is darker, I reserved mine before I saw any, and was disappointed when I saw the regular Anv. copper. Also noticed black and gold on tour pack that did not show in Harley pics.

You got it right and welcome to the forum.  Thanks!  This is a fun group on this forum and everyone has been very helpful.  And you're right about the tour pak.  From the side it looked one color and I was happy to see the black two tone on the top lid when I arrived at the dealer yesterday!  :)

The Wait Is Over!!!!  Congrats.

Thanks for posting the pics....looks much better than the regular anni bikes.  Really like the gold strip.

Time to get busy spending more $$$$.

BTW, if you are going to trailer your bike, I have and strongly recommend the wheeldock.  I have it in the back of my toyhauler - they are worth every penny!  Check it out:  www.wheeldock.com

Again congrats on the new acquisition!  Is it the photos or is the cloisonne HD tank emblem red?  Seems a bit odd.

I was incorrect - when I got home this evening I checked it.  It is red!

I have to say, that motorcycle strikes me the way my '04 SEEG did 4 years ago!  What a great looking ride!  There is an extreme amount of detail to take in on that bike, from the different colors of paint to the 105th anniversary cloisonnes and other details, to the other CVO items . . . it is simply striking!  Have fun taking it all in and the heck with any more photos . . . . get out and ride already!!!!!!!!! :2vrolijk_21:

I'm very much share Brian's sentiments on your bike.  To each their own of course.  To my own personal likes and dislikes, however, the 06 and 07 bikes were nice.  But they weren't as visually striking as the SEEGs were.  The remainder of the 08s hit me the same way.  Except for this one.  Of all those that have come after the SEEGs the 08 anniversary bike is the first one that has really interested me personally with its visual impact.

Really really nice looking bike.  Hope so very much it is as sound mechanically as it is stunning visually.  Good luck and enjoy that beautiful ride.

I just got back from my dealer where they have an anniversary SE Springer on the floor, and right across the aisle a non-SE anniversary Road King.  The non-SE copper is so light it's sorta "girlie" to me, but the darker SE version looks more bold!  I was surprised to see there is quite a difference in the two shades (non-SE and SE) that really didn't show up in some of the earlier Harley photos.

That's good news for those that are getting the SE version of the anniversary color. I was concerned about those colors being to close and hard to tell apart, and that would really upset me if I were buying one and they were just alike.

Brian, the last time I heard you carry on this much about a bike was last month in Hot Springs!  Shortly after that you were posting pics of SE #2!  Is this going to be number three???
 :2vrolijk_21:

PS:  Great looking bike!  I'm #2 on my dealers list.

That'd be a shock right now.  After all, he's still got Brembos and Traxxion Dynamics and HID lights and Bitubo rear shocks and gear drive cams and so much other stuff to buy just to get the Road Glide stock.
