Thank ya Dood. It's a chromed up  :pumpkin: type of thing so figured it'd be up your alley. If I need a matching hat I'll give you a call.
You know you'll have to start getting matching clothing now. You hear that Brian?? :huepfenlol2:

You'll need O/B jackets, O/B Shirts, Orange Bandanna's, and Orange T-Shirts. If I think of anything else you know I'll let you know. ;D

Screamin-
Congrats on the new addition to the family.  Both are great color combinations.  When you get some seat time on the RoadGlide, maybe you can do some comparisons/differences between the two fairings.

Boatman, since Screamin's got some issues to work out on his before he has a feel for the differences, I thought I could comment and then he can add to it later . . . .

I've rolled about 700 miles on my SERG.  Immediately, you can feel how much lighter the front end is without having the weight of the fairing on the bars, particularly at low speeds.  This translates into somewhat of a "twitchy" steering response that I was not used to coming off the SEEG.  Until I got used to this, I was pretty much sawing back and forth on the bars when running down the subdivision roads at 20 - 25 mph.  The weight of the fairing on the bars give the Electra Glide a slower steering response a lower speeds, that makes that bike a bit easier to control.

But, on the highway, the SERG shines!  The high-speed stability is much greater with the frame-mounted fairing.  The wind gusts do not translate directly to the bars!  Also, it might sound funny, but you can basically "feel" the difference in the fairing shapes.  By comparison, the SEEG feel like a snowplow, barging its way through the air, wheras the SERG feels more like a plane, slicing its way through.  It's really a much smoother, and more enjoyable ride on the road than the Electra Glide is.  Also, the way the lowers almost meet the fairing, provides more wind protection on the knees than the SEEG fairing/lowers.  This is great in the type of weather we're having now (fall), but I think this bike is going to be a lot warmer to ride with lowers on in the summer than the SEEG is.

I agree with Jim, the radio is a helluva reach out in front of you that makes changing channels with the preset buttons a PITA, but other than that, all things considered, I actually prefer the ride on the SERG over the SEEG.

Now, if it only had about 35 more HP & TQ. ???

Don't worry about that the thongs that were given to me were the wrong color (red). Heh, maybe you'd like them. :huepfenlol2:

Gary, if you ride a H-D, hopefully, you already have some O/B in your wardrobe, even if your bike is blue or red. :nixweiss:

Got three helmets and one bike and refuse to buy another one until it's needed. Now when one of them gets replaced that's another story.

Now you'll find yourself looking for more O/B now that you have a bike to match it to. :2vrolijk_21:
