Scott,

I think you will be really pleased with the work and the output from the motor.   What cam did you decide on and did you go larger on the juggs with the build?  Did you decide to go with a larger throttlebody based on what Wes and Howie and I have found with these motors and air flow?

Take the ACR's off the bike with the wiring back to the plug, unplug them from the harness, and forget you ever had them! ;)

Hoist! 8)

Yep, Howie is right.  I removed the wiring all the way back to the ECM.  Not having them plugged in is fine...no codes...no problems...

Harry,

I am going with the same cam you and Howie are using.  I left the jugs at 4" - but went with Axtell.  I am going with the 62MM HPI throttle body and increased size injectors.  I am using Wes's pistons, lifters and rocker arm assemblies, S&S adj. pushrods, Feuling cam plate and oil pump, Cometic gaskets all around.  I haven't decided on the bottom end.  My sense is to leave it alone.  I am a bit confused as to what the actual options are there anyway.

Scott,

I know you will be happy with the build the bike runs fantastic, did you decide what compression your going to run the bike at?"

Personally I did not want to mess with "changing" the bottom end to a different stroke.   I already have the 124" for all out getting it and I wanted this bike to have more oomph yet stay reliable and dependable for long hauling / touring with a little playing mixed in there somewhere.   For that reason I would say to have the bottom end shored up by having it welded and balanced and putting a timken in.   You are already tearing it down to pretty much the cases anyhow this would require very little additonal work on your part and probably some really good piece of mind for the future for you.

I didnt do it due to wanting the bike back and completed to do Hotsprings and MV which I ended up not going to /sigh.   I think I made a big mistake and hopefully will not be the guinea pig / poster child for Murphy's law.

Harry,

Wes is building for 10.0:1 compression ratio.

A question for you....what cruising MPG are you getting with your build?

In Hotsprings I was averaging 37-39 mpg on the 110".   At home depending on how much twisting I do I have been averaging 35-39 mpg depending on where and who I am riding with.   i did notice that I-4 at 85 + seems to lower my mpg a bit.  I might be a tad to rich at 3300-3700 rpm, but the bike is running great so I am not worried about it.

Thus far I have had no issues with the clutch slipping on the 07 SEUC2 with 130tq/120 hp.
