Delivered Monday 12/17/2007 "Copper Top" #800 to Mishawaka, Indiana.

Cobra Slip-Ons
PCIII

It went to Hoosier HD of Elkhart, IN and was traded to McDaniel's HD in South Bend, IN for a Canyon Copper FLHTCUSE3.
I traded in my 07 FHLTCUSE2 to get the new bike. Is it spring yet. Had to plow the driveway so they could make the delivery.

Merry Christmas

Picked up #670 today.  Since I'm in MI. I had to trailer it home, but it looks goooood in my garage!  Right now it's totally stock but pipes and SERT are in the future.  I heard Bub 7's on a road glide, with true duals, it sounded great.

i agree on the rinhart true duals. that's what i put on mine.  but when you crank it on, they are very LOUDD.   If you don't want that, maby just screamin eagle, or some other slip on's.  butt,,, you wont get max out of that engine without duals, a race tuner and dyno tune.

Just wondering... Is that a center stand you have on your bike?
If so, which make?  How does it work?  Are you happy with it?

Thanks!

Grizzly,  that center stand works great. got it from eglidegoodies.com. I have never had a problem with eglide but have heard others complain about them.  I saw another brand in hot springs ar. at a rally that i really liked because the lever on it was long enough to stand on while on the bike and lift it.  don't remember the name, but i have a card somewhere. if i find it i will pass it on.    jackie

Thanks Jackie... I'll check out eglide goodies, and if you do manage to locate that card for the other, it would be appreciated as well.

Take care & ride safe,

I looked at exactly the same stand at exactly the same place Jackie.  Didn't see the vendor there for the second rally but at the HOG rally earlier in the year.  It did deploy much easier than then others I've played with.  Only complaints were the handle stuck out further (only a bit) and (the big complaint) it didn't actually fully lift the rear wheel off the ground.  So you didn't gain the benefit for cleaning and service that could be gained with the others.

A large bunch of us were at the Hot Springs rally later in the year.  Another good group is likely to be there again in 2008.  Keep an eye out for a thread already started in the events section and join in.

This is getting off topic, but I had the center stand from www.vwowv.com on my '06 USE.  I loved it.  I met the guy who designed them here at Custer during the Sturgis Rally in '06.  His name is Al Meyer.  He installed the stand personally.  He's a nice guy and has a great product.  If anyone is interested, you can talk to Al personally by calling him at 218-259-0650.

There are a few add-on's that I did

V&H True Duels with oval slip-ons..   Cross over pipe was to hot
Blue tooth for the radio ( If you have a FLHTCUSE3, make sure you get the extra harness for ultra )
Military Derby and timing covers ( USAF )
Race tuner
Stage 1 Air cleaner
center stand
Engine Fan
L.E.D tail light. ( To use this light, you most use these item with it. Alarm Compatible Load Equalizer #KU-4857 and Rear run_turn-brake module #KU-4859)

I had the bike DYNO ( Temp was around 30 degrees )

Stock

Torque 98.83
HP       79.10

After the mods ( tuner, stage 1 air and exhuast )

Torque  112.51
Hp        91.64
