Great look, Naitram.  I bet those bars ride good too.  It warms my soul to see someone else using the basic towel fender/tank covers.  I'm sure you have the nifty HD covers on your wish list as I do...........Har! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

On a Road King I used one of those on the left side and it worked great.  Turned out to be very comfortable and your thumb will quickly learn where the switches are without any big hassle at all.  It was a 2000 model that I'd added cruise control to.  The cruise hardware mounted on the right side and wouldnt' have allowed an aux switch housing in it's place anyway.  That cruise unit had it's on-off switch as a toggle on the back of the headlight just like the one switch you've just replaced.  So I ended up using the three switches for the master on-off for the cruise, the master on-off for the spotlights and the master on-off for some highway bar mounted running lights that been added also.  It was really handy having all the controls up there in one place.  Hopefully you'll like it a lot.

Yeah, but you seem to be happy with it when it's done.  And that's important.  Might have been a fracking pain in the ass for several work hours.  But it'll look good for a long long time [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

take your time and be patient, if you try and force them you will end up cutting the shielding..............

i bought bars that were pre drilled but i took a dremel to them and made the holes bigger, i took measurements of the size of the openings on the factory bars as a guide i also bought 4ft pieces of shrink tubing from a local electronics store and used one for each side i shrank all 4 ft even though the wires arent that long that way i used the empty portion as kind of a snake to get things started then i could push and pull at the same time. all told i probally spent 10 hours over 2 weekends working on the entire project and the majority of that time was spend on the wiring

Nice work!!! I applaud you on your efforts and skills....

I could not help but notice the amount of snow on March 21st!  WOW!  Of course at this point you can tell I have never lived north of the Mason Dixon Line.  GOD bless you.

I wish I had your skills.

Thanx for the tip. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] patience is a key factor. no rush job when ya thread the needle!  and the heat shrink idea is great. Man those bars really liven things up on your bike! [smiley=laugh.gif]
