Chuck, in all seriousness I just love this paint work.  You know how much I love the 05 red bikes.  And while to my selfish eyes I can see your new work as homage to the 05 red paint scheme it is really that and so much more.  Stunning in every way.  It's the red bike with an injection of "damn ain't that beautiful" given it in overdose.

I've got no desire to reclad the red bike with different skins.  Were it ever in the same position your bike has been, however, I'd make the choice you did in a heartbeat.  Uber-CVO the paint scheme.  Seeing yours now just makes the jaw drop.  Nothing there at all not to both like and admire.  You've set the bar very very high my friend.  Congrats on how it's turning out.

I don't know what to say but Thank you. I can't take credit for the design, nor the execution. The best I could do would be to pick a pretty set of pictures. I feel I got lucky on this one as I surely didn't have experience in a custom project like this to draw on. Lucky is better than good on most days.

Thank you again.

Don't be so modest Chuck! Your desire to get a super paint job, in lieu of a standard CVO paint job, and how you transmitted that to your painter, is what got you the paint job you're showing us now. So take some credit for a great job dammit! :2vrolijk_21: ;)

Chuckie, as you know I've been hiding under a rock the last couple of weeks. I sure am glad I stumbled across this. MAN, that looks awesome!!! Why can't you have it ready for Charleston?

Thanks miker. It was either this design, or a mural of the Jupiter Lighthouse. I'm glad I went with this one.  :2vrolijk_21:

Yea, I know you're up to yer a$$ in alligators, but it won't last for ever. ;D

There is a VERY slim outside chance that it may happen. The frame is probably going to get here sometime in the week before we come over. If I'm really lucky and all of the planets align, it may get here before the 16th. If that were to happen, I'd have a fighting chance to have it done by then, but it all depends on when the frame gets here.  :)

that's not 3D, it's 4D!  I know you're getting a lot of well deserved accolades for this but your painter needs to take a serious bow!  Congratulations.  I hope the few moments of "OH CHIT!" followed by a few weeks of indecision, several weeks of waiting and a couple more of hard work and skinned knuckles are all worth it....
