Chuck,
Now that's a painter.  Going the extra to wrap the stripe around the inside of the bags. :2vrolijk_21:  That is really one awesome paint job.  Are you sure you're really going to ride that, or just trailer it and then set it outside and take pictures of the places you trailer it to?   :P

Nope. I went by and they were doing the undercoating, but they weren't ready, same old story. He really wants to get paid, so I'm hoping he pressed the guys to finish them up. Monday is the new deadline. :)

I think his newness to painting Harleys is why he did that. Most painters would probably know it was OK to just stop when the line disappears around the back, but he really wanted to do the whole job 'right', so he wrapped it all the way around. :2vrolijk_21:

I think AJ may shodow me just to be certain I don't do that. :huepfenlol2:

Yes. They masked off the outer surface of the swingarm pivot brackets thinking they were actually mating surfaces instead of externally visible. I should get them back soon. Back to waiting. :(

Can you get the motor and trans in? Mask off areas that might get nicked. That way when they come back you'll be ready to install the swing arm.

If I had the necessary gaskets I would. They're coming and should be here any day.  :)

Instead of doing the reconstruction with one hand on the camera, one hand on the keyboard, one hand on the wrench, and one hand in your wallet, how about setting up a web cam in your shop with a link for us to watch from?  Just a thought.  You've got the interest of 5,000 members here who'd like to see the progression.  Good luck Chuck!
