I hate to say it but my 04 Orange and Black is faster than my 05 Red :(  .    I am still delving into the differences.   I have been told there was some changes made to the heads in 05.   I spoke to Bob Woods on the phone yesterday and he eluded that the springs and such were different.   I had also heard some other things, but until I can confirm or deny them I will keep looking into it.

There was a Red available at New Symirna Harley and they also had a green not sure they are both still there.

When I went to Biketoberfest last October, New Smyrna Beach H/D had a red one. I fell in love!!!
I asked about the price. Salesman didn't even smile when he said
"$34,995.00 plus tag, tax, shipping and set up"
What an idiot!

He had the supply and with a 5k premium there was no demand on my part.

Wow, those must be those special "Bar & Shield Screamin' Eagle Parabolic w/SuperChrome" to be able to see a red one pulling away from you like that [smiley=shocked2.gif] [smiley=7.gif]

I'm really surprised that there are that many sitting around in dealerships.  Here in northern Calif. I haven't saw a one that wasn't already spoken for and usually before it ever gets to the dealership.........when you do see them in the dealership it's for that day or two waiting for the owner to come and pick it up.  Sounds like the demand isn't as great in other parts of the country.  Very interesting.
