Black bracket replaced by color matched makes a nice difference.

I would have liked the bracket for the pipes to match, but I'll leave that for another day.

There is still something that is CVO specific that nobody has noticed...hummm.

Guilty,

Were you able to make the handlebar change without replacing any cables, lines or wires?
Thanks,
Scott

Scott, all of the cables had to be changed and I'll probably change them again...I didn't oversee the ordering of the replacement cables and they are not exactly what I expected, plus the throttle cables could easily be 2 inches shorter. I will probably replace them with Magnum Sterling Chromite II cables.

Is that a Harley windshield ? I did not think they would fit with the tach mounting bracket.

OK, the only visual parts that you guys missed was:
1) Screamin' Eagle shift linkage that I bought here on the CVOHarley forum from a member. I painted inside the letters of the SE shift linkage orange to match the bike color. It really looks great and finishes off the left side engine.
2) Braided stainless fuel crossover line...that is hard to see from the pictures.
3) Chrome Rear Master Cylinder...that is hard to see from the pictures too.

The non-visual things I replaced or modified are:
Replaced Front Brake Pads Only with Lyndall Z-Plus Racing Brake Pads...couldn't replace the rear pads due to the new design.
Wild1 WO510 Chubby Springer Handlebar with Wild1 WO531 Chubby Pullback Springer Risers - you guys noticed the handlebars but might not have noticed the risers - they are sooo much more confortable that the stock bars.
Replaced Harley-Davidson Smart Security Siren with HD Smart Security Siren II so I could use it with the HD Security System Pager Receiver II.
Remote Control Garage Door Opener Transmitter.
Battery Charging Harness...why this isn't stock I don't understand.
All of the bolts are replaced with chrome bolts...no covers here and it looks great up close.

Any of you guys with the CVO Springers...the HD windshield that I bought fit with the stock handlebars and did not have any problems fitting with the tach. H-D Low Profile, Lightly Smoked Windshield, Part# 58771-96 and Windshield Docking Hardware Kit Part# 58907-96A. You have to take off the headlight to install the docking hardware and that is an easy job. It is about a 5 minute job to take off the windshield once you have it installed. You have to take off the lower docking screws on each side so you can lift the windshield off...the headlight is in the way for easy 10 second removal. The windshield is the perfect windblock for highway cruising and high speed country roads.

What  :nixweiss: no wax?

Actually, I haven't waxed the Springer yet. I know, I know...what's up with that? - been too busy I guess! I will take it into consideration while I am sitting here watching a winter storm pass through. Thanks for the reminder.

I would like to see a picture from the front. Do you like the pro pipe? I just installed the big radius 2 into 1.
