Ken,

The cards are also useful for storing things like Points of Interest such as all the H-D Dealerships, etc.

That's what I do Sypdy, you can download the POI loader from Garmin's website if you haven't already.

I load mine directly to the Zumo. I only load the states that I'll be travelling in instead of all the US H-D dealers.

Hey Gary, did you notice any appreciably slower loading time for the ZUMO after doing it this way?  You know, ea. time you start up the scooter. spyder

None at all from the few states of dealers I keep in there at a time. The POI is a relatively small file in size even if you load all of the US dealers (AJ/hard10 verified the file size in his GPS here as being only 630KB). I have noticed it to be slower to recognize the SD card (music) when I have a lot of files in there.

d00d,

The other day I tried to play songs by artist and pick one particular artist, there were three of the same names of one artist on several. So that would mean if I picked one of the three I would only get one song? Shouldn't I be able to pick an artist and it play all the songs by that artist in order and then on from there? Is this due to how the song is titled possibly?

Thanks!

I'm thinking the Zumo may read file names like a UNIX system. For instance "Who", "The Who", "the Who", "TheWho" and "the who" would all be different. I have noticed when I messed up on adding the Genre to some of the songs I've downloaded if I misspelled, didn't put in the space like all the rest, or added a space then it would show up as another category. If you have the artist's name the same then it should recognize all of them at the same time, and you should be able to select "Play All" and it work. Never tried by artist so can't say for sure I usually play be "Genre".

Rob,
In the picture attached below it will show the properties of a song (to get there you can right click on the file then scroll down to "Properties" and click on it) if you click on the "Summary" tab, this will be the information the Zumo is reading. Make sure the same information (Spelling in "Artist") is in each of the files of that artist you want to play.

Rob,
Just went and tried this on my Zumo just to make sure using Bob Marley as the artist I wanted to play all of his songs. Then next couple of posts will show screen shots of my Zumo as I went thru this process. First I browsed by "Artist" to get to Bob Marley...

This screen shot is the second window of songs by Bob Marley when using the down arrow. You'll notice that it's showing 4 songs, but the first two are repeats from the first screen. I've got a total of six songs by Bob Marley loaded on this disk.

When I hit "Play All" then all six songs show as they will play. You'll notice the screen is showing 1/6 that is playing.
