Need more bottom to mid. Will sacrafice some top for this. Have an S&S 585... should I drop a size or two? Can I clean up the HTTC heads to flow better. I was told by the dealer that I can't run flat top pistons with these heads. I would hate to get rid of the true duals but is a 2 into one the way to go? Race tuner over PC?

Ok for the guys who know... SirMike owns the streets now. Eats me alive. We don't have enough curvy roads here in the big county of corn we live in. By the time we get to the corners he is gone.

And... for those who know... not a big wallet at this time. The ex has taken it. I guess the Jim's motor is out and have to squeeze the ol 95" even more.

A 2 into one usually provides better power , especially low end. It did on my 95. I'd try that first.
If you have the non CNC HTTC heads , yes you can have them cleaned up and get some improvement .

If you have the heads recut in the combustion chamber, you can run flat top pistons. Have built a few that way. Torque is great down low.
Ran a S&S 585 in one of them and if memory recalls correctly the numbers were around 105/105 ina 95 and 120/120 in a 103.

I like the cam because I do like the top end but need more poop of the bottom through the mid. I originally built it for two up and was doing more road trips but now it seems to be more of a play bike. Finding that happy medium would be great.

Harry is not going to like this but have to ride it one more year so just want to change a few things around. Maybe next winter I'll be able to build a monster. SirMikes bike seems awesome. I won't even ride it. I told him unless he has an extra $10,000 I'm not touching it. That would be like giving an achohlic a sip and see what he does. His bike is that impressive! And it is on pump gas!

So I'm just waiting on the big guns here and maybe I will take better advice this time.

My bike runs good just because I already have the stroker crank and I can go to the 113, so yah, there is no substitute for cubic inch!!

Tommys 95 does run good, especially on the top end!! It just has no low end!!

Have your heads cleaned up and lower the comp just alittle, go to the 570 cams, and maybe do the 2 in 1 D&D pipe!! I know you like the rineharts, but I think the 2 in 1 will help the low end!!

Just repeating what someone already mentioned to you!! ;D

TommyO,

I think you got it all wrong I don't mind at all if Mikey whoops you, it really doesn't bother me one bit, hopefully this next build you won't stray again and listen to the harley dealer.   Let me know if I can be of any help :)

Don't let Harry play both sides Tommy. You need an independent consultant man! But now that Mike made his move, go for the best bro! :2vrolijk_21:

i'll watch the show! ;)

Hey now I was just stirring a little bit there Howie.   I can't help it if Tommy listened to the Stealer.   If he would just use some of that money he is getting back and it is a good chunk we would get to see some pretty even runs instead of the current scenario of the Mikey spanks Tommy show.

Pass the popcorn I figure I may get hungry waiting for Tommy to come off that fat wallet he claims not to have.   All that overtime, bonus and returned money, this should be a good one by the time it ends.

Tommy will do something this winter, he won't stand by for to long and not do anything!! :2vrolijk_21:

All you guys are encouraging Tommy to get a bigger motor and thats great, but you don't realize that he already scares me now!! :vrolijk27: He is not your everyday average rider, he has issues!! :nervous: I don't think he realizes that he's on a BAGGER at times!! :zstupid:

Example: The other day we were riding next to each other and his sunglasses fell from his head, so he decided to try to reach down and save them and the next thing I knew, our highway pegs locked and we were stuck together for a minute!! :o I kind of was like "wow" and was alittle starttled, but when I looked at him, he was smiling and thought that was cool!! :o

He's the only one I know that tries to catch air on a bagger!!  :zwtf:

I suppose I have to give him credit though, cause it does look cool to see a bagger catch air and he does it pretty well!!  :bigok:

I will say one thing though, I don't care if we are in the middle of nowhere and my bike breaks down, I'm walkin!! I would rather walk 100 miles and lose weight before I had to ride B!#@& with him!! He's my good friend and all, but that is not happening!! He would try to see how far we can wheelie with my fat azz on the back and I am not going to give him that chance!!  :puke:
He rides nice and respectful with his woman on the bike, but you know damn well he wouldn't with me!!

                                                                   Later,
                                                                             MIKE :vrolijk_10:

Mikey,

Sounds like your singing a new tune, the i am almost scared he is going to top me tune.   As long as it took him to do the stealer upgrade I figure you're safe for a long while.

But we will see no one here knows how badly your busting his chops in private.   Besides the daily or semi daily cell calls asking if he is going to catch up or not.

Looking forward to seeing you ride bitch just for the picture if nothing else :)

And Mikey before you go casting stones wasn't it you the other night that left his house with your lovely bride on back doing a Wheelie.   Least he rides slowly with his new found bunny friend.
