Just a shot in the dark here, but have you tried adding this site to your trusted sites?

Not on mine. :nixweiss:

Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites > Sites > Add this website to the zone

Not saying that will work, but it might.

Try downgrading to Norton 359?

Triumph brand virus protection instead of Norton?

Only click on the site 20% of the time, since 80% is when you have problems?

Same here.  I'm running IE ver 7 and you can only add 'S' sites as a trusted site - this is to 'assure' security.

Well, now that's just weird. :confused5:  Mine does have a box you can check for that, but it's optional.  I'm running IE7, too, and can put both types of urls in there.

(Not that any of this has to do with Duane's problem. :nixweiss: ;D)

After 10 yrs as a die hard Norton customer I finally made a switch to another vendor due to unending conflicts with Norton 360. Spent many hours with tech support on a couple of different occasions, but to no avail. Just couldn't spend any more time trying to chase out the gremlins. Made the switch and have not had ONE issue. FWIW.  :soapbox:

XP Pro and IE 6

Have you done all your MS updates on XP pro SP2? and You should also be running IE7 7.0.5 if not you are leaving yourself open to Virus and othe internet secuirty problems.

The updates from MS are free as well as the upgrade for IE7 -just do a System restore NOW before you do any update and upgrades to your browser as well before you add any new software. That way you can go back to Squre one if a problem should occur..

I use Macfee -Virus and Firewall ( I don't use their(Macfee) adware and privcy stuff because they are a public held company and have no obligation to stop all ad's and other users from other company's that they get $ from) and sybot (free) and Adware 2007 also running XP pro .
