Leo,

Nice new scoot -- now you can make every gas stop like the rest of us as opposed to riding that butt-ugly BMW.  :D

Sooner than late April?  What have you got in mind Roger?

You know what?  York may not be the best idea for round II of the SPRFNR.  There were more of that plate scattered in the midwest than any other geographic region.  The SPRFNR should be in a big empty to feel right.  Great scenery and fun roads just to get there.  With nothing else going on.  What about...  Deadwood in the last half of June?

After Wild Bill Days, the weather is good by then and I can't think of much else going on.

Hmmmm.... :nixweiss: ?

I was more referring to S-B getting his Glide to Georgia in my mind than the SPRFNR.  I gets cornfused often.

Bill, the KC crew caught you for dinner.  You had a complicated and at least partially miserable trip that time.  We've talked about it and even though we won't admit it publicly in front of anyone we both still feel bad about things keeping us from being there and seeing you and Anne.

Enough so, in fact, that I think any future SPRFNGRs should be held in your honor.  From now on we'll make them the WFP Memorial SPRFNGR.  Deadwood when the area is mostly dead does sound like a fair idea.  Will keep it in the back of the feeble mind for a bit and see what happens.

How about Jackson Hole in 2009?

Good point!    I think a SPRFNGR is screwed up if it has too much planning.  Let's get Sedona behind us.  We can do an ersatz SPRFNGR at York; just because we're there.  Then after Sedona see what ideas percolate for 09 and come up with SPRFNGR to fit among the 09 ideas.

Leo, your going the wrong way.

Where we are living the geese are all flying South, not North.

Can't wait to see you again in Sedona, AZ in May. I will miss not seeing the Road Glide, but am happy for you in your aquisition of the new SEEG.  Course, what's not to love.
