These guys keep going.  The Eagles are going on the road again and are all pushing 60.  The Stones actually survived.  Someday, perhaps soon, the unthinkable will happen.  A rocker will actually die of natural causes...

Are you sure he's still invited?  They keep announcing a tour and then canceling, then announcing a new one again....

I loved them in '84.  I think Diamond Dave is a little loony these days.  i wonder if he'll have a hair weave on tonight?

Let us know how it goes.  what's funny about it now is that everyone will be in their 40's and sitting for the entire show!

Dave took Sammys place,  hope it is better than last time. I just heard that the tour has been extended into 2008 even. Don't know how they made it this far without a fight. Eddies kid took over the bass.  It's a sell out here and most of the tour.  Will post back tomorrow.

Very good show. I would say Eddie carried the show with his guitar work. You could tell Eddie really seemed to have a good time lot of smiles. Dave did a good job also even though he can't hit the high notes anymore.Van Halen seemed better with Dave than Sammy. Play list was good. Drums were superior. Eddies kid on bass did fine. I would go again if I could, ended too soon for me.   :2vrolijk_21:

We caught them in Greensboro, NC second show of the tour. I would agree with 46Knuck's review. I always liked Dave better than Sammy. I'd go again.
