 Edmunds.com has just announced that Chrysler has set the production of 2008 SRT-8 Challengers at 6400 and a few more for foreign markets. I just got off the phone with customer service and mine is still at the BX status.

Anyone had the opportunity to drive one yet? I am interested to see what feedback is...REALLY need to figure out how to justify getting one, open to suggestions. :nixweiss:

How about, it looks hot, it goes great, you feel great in it, it brightens your day and when you go to sleep and wake up in the morning you know it's in the garage :nixweiss:

It will only be a plus if it goes around a corner. :bananarock:

From what you can see of the gauge pod, it looks pretty true to the concept car.

Edit: Just realized that's a 6-speed, so either it is the concept car, or a 2009 model.

 That's supposed to be pic's of an "09" R/T. I don't imagine the dash will change much from R/T to SRT. They had a poor picture of the seat and it was cloth.

#1 Production 2008 Challenger SRT8 goes for $400K

On January 19, 2008, after much anticipation, the very first production 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 was sold at auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. The price tag? A whopping $400,000. All proceeds from the sale will go to charity.
