Thanks! And hopefully it will make the riding easier on my butt. Later,Q
John, I've broken in 5 of the Corbin seats over the years. It's not they are terrible to begin with. They're not. But they are
FIRM. In the first few hundred miles the seat does break in both generally and to the contours of your butt. You also adjust to it, how it feels and that it spreads the pressure points to much wider zones. So don't let any initial concerns worry you too much. Give it three or four or five tanks full of gas and then really begin paying attention to how it's feeling.
A few have had issues with Corbin touring saddles being a little high on the sides, under our thighs. Can get the tinglies when that happens. If you do notice that or anything else one of the benefits of Corbin is they'll give you a free adjustment. Call and speak with them about where and how it feels in whatever it way it shouldn't feel. You'll be out the back and forth time. But they do a real good job of taking what we describing and cutting on the seat pad to make it work how our rear end and legs need it to.
Those needing this kind of work have been the rare exception. But it's nice to know it's a relatively painless option of need be. For now just put a few hundred miles on it and then really begin paying attention to how it feels.
