Congratulations, Bob!!  Had no idea this was about to happen, but thrilled for you.  Is the '06 going to be history at some point?

Thanks Terry, I had been eyeing them for awhile.  Some of the guys here had found a few and let me know about them but I had to start the approval process each time, if you know what I mean...    The good thing was, each time one came up, the process got quicker.  Warren called me on Tuesday and told me there was one at our local dealer and the guy that had the deposit on it wasn't going to be able to take it.  So I just got lucky.  We'll see on the 06, I'm not sure yet.  We actually rode it some today.

About that weather Brian. We were in Danville, IL this weekend, enjoying your great fall weather. Man, were we ever glad to get back to the south this afternoon. 75 and sunny beats freezing rain everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

Thanks Brian, I'm way too emotional about these bikes, I can't seem to bring myself to part with any of them.  I'll just have to see how much I ride two Ultras. 

As far as the Fly-N-Ride deal, get your butt down here!  It's 65 here as I write this and our Winter is supposed to be warmer than average. 

I'll be sure to tell John and Bill hello for you, come on down and we'll all get out and ride.

Congratulations, Bob!  WOW!!  That was unexpected.  REALLY beautiful machine.  Saw one at 29 Dreams today when Renea and I were down there with Terry and Suzanne.  Very impressive, and I know you're simply tweaked!  I would be.  That is quite the stable you have.  Enjoy it............and ain't it great to live in the South where we can get out and ride 300 miles on a December afternoon??  Love it!!

This is coming from the guy that's got so many bikes I can't keep up with them. 

Now the shower thing is a whole different discussion.    You promised me you were going to bring that can of whoop a$$ for Craig to the N. GA GTG and then you didn't show up!  I hope you're keeping it somewhere safe so we'll have it when we're all together again.

As far as the verdict goes... I gotta tell ya, I realize it's early, but so far this is the finest piece of American Iron I've ever sat my big butt on.  There are so many improvements over the 06, it's like a whole different bike.  I love the brakes, the 6 speed and the list goes on.  The only thing I've found I don't like so far is the new fuel fill, it's made in such a way that it's hard to get it full without some spilling on the tank.  I'm sure it's all technique and I'll get used to it.  It is for a fact, a fine machine.!

GA!  (_{and I'll try to stay out of the shower}!)  The question is: Which bike do you bring?  I can't believe we were riding the better part of the day with nothing more than a wind breaker on December 9th! And Bob, with a 6 gallon tank, you really don't have to get it completely full, (but I always try anyway)!

No kidding, the weather is incredible!  I was wearing a tee-shirt this afternoon.  I've got it all figured out, I'm going to use the 08 for trips short enough that I don't need the trailer and the 06 when we're going to be gone long enough that the trailer is needed.

You're right about the 6 gallon tank... duh, why didn't I think of that!

Tbone...great looking new ride...if you need a garage, you can use mine!!!!!  Saw A SEUC Duracell at a dealer in Fairfax, Va Saturday...what a good looking machine....it was my first look at the Duracell.  Mine should be in in the next week or so...be interesting to see what number it will be!
