I had a rabbit run into the side of my front wheel once. He came out of the weeds along side the road ahead of me ran a few feet going the same direction as me, then made a left turn right into the wheel, hit my foot.  Ran over a snake once.

Jackrabbits are just the norm here, we use them as practice!!

Not admitting to the rumors about how slow I ride but I did have a snake go between my tires a few years ago. I was riding and he made it between them without getting hit by either one. Either he was really quick or the rumors are true.

I've seen you ride Ernie, and your not slow.  And whenever I've seen a snake on the road, I am almost standing on my seat trying to get away from them.  I don't really like them that much.

A turkey ran into the lower fairing on my bike on it's maiden voyage home from the dealership.  I was following behind the bike and what I saw was a whole lotta shaking going on low down on the bike and then all of a sudden, a completely plucked turkey came shooting out from the bike.  Looked like one of those rubber chickens of gag and slapstick comedy prop.

I hit a turkey - actually, it flew into the path of the bike - a few years ago.  Big bruise on my shoulder & an explosion of feathers.  Found... lets just say "turkey" on the bike in various places for a couple of weeks or so. 

Riding buddies suggested eating it since it was already tenderized, but I left it off the side of the road. 

Your bike plucked the bird, mine did not.  Possibly you have HD part#5482-34b Lower Fairing Turkey Plucker?
