Mrs. We has spent some time looking over the letter and filled in the facts for correctness.  She's also said ok on sending this out in support.  We can't know if the dealership will respond.  But we do know they've had to go throgh a tremendous amount of hassle and hopefully her shop will recognize some shortcomings and step up the bar if they see this from enough people.

In the next post will be a letter you can cut and paste in to your word processor.  Change the date at the top to reflect when you mailed it and put your name and bike at the bottom in place of mine.  The addresses to send to are at the top and bottom.

So the We's have an idea what will be showing up at their dealership those that do this should "count off" (so to speak).  That way they'll be clued in to what kind of response the shop is seeing.

Oh yeah, if you do it in a 10 point type it will easily fit in two pages.

Thank you one and all. I have made a version of this letter to send myself, so that I also will have a written correspondence with the dealer to partner with my phone and in person communications. I want to thank you in advance from the very bottom of my heart for this wonderful support and I sure hope this will help at minimum get my pipe problem resolved. This has been the single most terrible experience I have ever had dealing with Harley Davidson. I am shocked, dissapointed and now am reminded why I hang out here. It is not the MoCo, it is the customers.  They are the reason the company is so successful. I'm very interested in learning the outcome of the letter drive.

I made the necessary changes (my name, address, etc.) and just put both letters in the mail.  Keep us posted.

This is so awesome,  I sent my letter to the dealer and copy that will go to corporate HD. Same letter, just a different focus.  May or may not do any good, but it sure makes me feel a lot better. Sometimes just saying it and then letting it go is the best thing. Thanks all. I will still go to Colonial HD, cause I like it, the staff, and the HOG chapter. The motorclothes section is awesome, and when they discount, boy do they discount.
