Merry Christmas Everyone!!! Christmas day our family rejoices on the birth of our savior "Jesus". We also like to reflect on our past year and how God has provided and showed His love. We also will reflect on those we prayed for and how God always answers prayer. It was not always with the ending we asked for, but you can always see God's hand and sweet Love in everything. Saying that, I am so thankful for the prayers God has answered for our CVO family. Seems like there has been soo many more prayer request this year than years past. I think that is a good thing as God likes to hear from us.
I am Thankful for God to have kept my Lil Buddy Mikey's brain cancer from spreading. His type of cancer is an aggressive cancer and usually spreads quickly. Last week his MRI showed no growth or shrinkage on what was left that they couldn't remove. God has used this tragic event to touch so many people.
I am thankful for another young man that God has spared his life. Barry's (displacingair) son Josh Heine. He should be dead right now. He survived a horrific car wreck and was not expected to move his limbs again. Then God answers prayer and from the throne of heaven he reached down and touched Josh. Last week Josh stood face to face with his Dad! Though it was for a moment and Josh has a long way to go, it was yet another miracle from God Himself. Now he is home for Christmas, what a Christmas they will have.
Treva and Mike (Skippy) and her journey with throat cancer. I believe God has answered our prayers favorably and you are on the road to recovery. There has been so many prayers. Prayers for travel, wives, husbands, kids, illness, deaths, relationships, tests, marriage and toys! We are all in need of something. God has given us His great gift and also prayer. During my day I may all of a sudden be thinking of a name, one of you, I immediately lift you up in prayer. That ever happen to you? I believe God put you on my mind for a reason, even though I don't know what that might be, God does. Isn't that cool to know someone is praying for you and you don't even know it! I do!!!
