Mustang seat for 2008 touring models
« on: December 16, 2007, 08:08:18 AM »

When they changed the size of the gas tank for 2008 the Moco also redesigned the seat on the touring models.  The only thing that stayed the same was the lack of comfort.  Mustang was slow in making available a seat that would fit the 08 but has just announced seats for the entire line.  http://mustangseats.com

A retailer in Tucson is discounting the seat http://www.cyclespot.com/discount-harley-parts/Motorcycle_Seats.html

My wife rides on the back.  Do you think I could get away with buying her a Mustang seat for xmas?

Do you think I could get away with buying her a Mustang seat for Christmas?

I bought my wife a 44 mag. for our first anniversary.  She has still never shot it.  That has been 29 years ago.....still not sure she appreciated it, as much as I did anyway  :D ;D :D ;D :D

I have a friend with an '04 SE Deuce.  He wants a mustang seat, tour model, but is concerned the look.  Any pics out there that I can show him?

Here's the site http://mustangseats.com . They're not as good looking as the Corbin's or even some of the other seats out there but they are comfortable out of the box and reasonably priced.

My husband used a mustang seat on his road king, then moved it to the SEEG - so the seat has 70-80 K miles on it.  Still looks like the day it came to the house.  The Corbin offered a heat feature, so he finally bit the bullet and ordered the Corbin, which he has just put on his bike.  A short 250 miles on the bike before he took off to Southern Florida.  I talked to him last night and he said his first 500 hard miles on a new seat had him wishing he'd of thought about the breaking in of a seat before a long trip was planned.  :)  Mustang makes a good seat.

He is learning (and it's a hard lean for him) to sit and look at the water and really study where it meets the sky.  He has spent all day Thursday and Friday in Key West and thought he'd spend one more day, but he says he has pretty much seen all he is interested in, and that there is no place to ride to, so he is going to start meandering North.  I was trying to encourage him to head West when he gets to the mainland, as he has already done the East side.  He thinks it may be too many miles of nothing but marsh on both sides of you with nothing to break up the view.  He is starting to realise that he does not have to do anything at all, unless it is something he wants to.
