Ahhhh.... The heat makes us think we are "fried" so we talk funny, and all the times in the past I thought I was getting "fried" just so I could talk funny.... slur my speech. :huepfenlol2:

Thanks again for posting the pics.  Looks like a nice place to visit......, but those pics of the downtown area sure make me appreciate living in Oklahoma!  Things are just a bit slower paced here  :2vrolijk_21:

Seriously though, I would really like to visit New York sometime.....think it would be cool to actually see Time Square (boy, talk about hillbillies coming to town)

Actually we have, lived in L.A.(Enterprise) for five years before moving back to the Northwest. I picked up the accent real bad took several months to let go of it. Still have to think before saying certain words such as ol (oil). Karen had one of her old friends come to visit a couple of months ago and I took her for a ride. However when we got up to speed she had me pull over, I asked what happened she replied had to take off her false eyelashes as they were beating her to death. She said bet you never had to do that with Karen LOL. Another friend of Karen's here said after meeting her, said she sounds just like Paula Dean.

Nothin' like a nice Southern speaking woman...

You lived down in Soybean, Cotton, and Peanut country, and it's hotter 'n Hades down in that part of the state.  From Burminham Northward is like a different state.  Even have a different dialect, to some extent.

I'll bet Ken is having a time in New Yakk...they don't see many folks in overhalls, I'll bet... ;)

He is getting a little homesick Terry. So today I'm taking him to my buddy's bike shop. Why you ask? He sells Redneck Engineering Choppers. I thought he'd feel more at home seeing something Redneck! ;D

We'll also bring him to Dinosaur BBQ on Sat. I want a real Redneck to tell me that NYC don't have real BBQ! Not happening! :o ??? ::) ;D

Dinosaur originated in Syracuse.  NYC doesn't count....

It's of my favorite places.  I go to the one in Rochester quite a bit.  There's a BBQ store near my home that has a cookbook containing all the dinosaur recipes.  Enjoy!  You're WAY behind on pictures BTW.

I know it did Jim. I used to work for Carrier and have been to the one in Syracuse too, many times. But we have real BBQ in NYC now! Can't take nuthin' away from that! So it sure does count! ;)

You're right, it counts.  After all, it's Q!  See if they sell the recipe book there.

You are correct Terry. To my knowledge I haven't seen ANYONE in bibs. I've seen a little bit of everything else though. I'm content to just sit on the sidelines and watch the freaks of nature walk by.  Went out for EYETalian last night. I didn't know what anything was called, but, it was all AWESOME. It cost more than my monthly mortgage payment. BUT, that chit was worth everything Howie paid for it. I think they want us to stay another week or two so they can take us out to some other expensive places.

I may not know about Italian, Greek, sushi, and Thai foods BUT, I KNOW BBQ intimately. If it's a piece of poak roasted in the oven in a tomatoe paste, I'll be the first to let you know it suxs. If it's authentic Suthern poor man's hickory smoked food, I'll also give ya credit.

Here's a photo of a genuine NYC veal chop. I've eat on this thing for three days now.
