Today Howie and I scooted on over to North Shore MotorCycles where he's having his work done. Here's Howie after I pulled him behind the wide glide with a length of rope. It's the only time I expect him to stay behind me.

These were powder coated locally on LI, and sent by Vern to Diamond Heads for the fin cutting. The areas behind the pushrod tubes are also different from each other. These are Ultima Cylinders, not Axtells. I thought these came out great. Don, it's looking like Sumax might be your culprit here. ;)

This top end goes to that Green Chopper that Ken posted before the top end.

Actually it wasn't Sumax.  They screwed up breaking a cylinder the first time around.  This time their hands were clean though.  Scott's cylinders having nearly identical scalping and having only been at Axtell put to rest that thought. 

Diamond heads certainly tried to hide from any question by doing the COD shipping the way they did.  Rather than being stand up and allowing the consumer some options they just forged ahead along the path of least resistance and left me hanging out to dry.  But the actual scalping was Axtell.

Howie was so sick of oil leaks, engine problems, the thought of having to add Fairings etc that he traded for an 08 GoldWing. Somehow, to me it just does not suit him. I think he plans on growing hair, shaving the goatee, and wearing red vinyl jackets. He's even vowed to quit cursing. My job here is done.
