I received a leather bound certificate of motorcycle origin in the mail today.
I thought this was a classy little touch for this purchase. Is this the norm
for all Harley purchases or just the CVO's ? Everyone have a Merry Christmas
and happy holidays. I hope Santa leaves you lots of Harley bling under the
tree.

This is the norm for all the harley bikes that I have purchased including non cvo bikes.

I've purchased two branch new HDs (2003 Anniversary bike and a 2007 CVO), and I didn't get anything like that either time.

I am on my fourth CVO and never received anything like that...sounds nice though...

Must be a dealer thing, I've bought 3 new bikes from 3 different dealers and never anything like that.  Waco HD used to give real nice pocket knives that had the Bar/Shield and the HD logo engraved in it, but think they stopped this when the ownership changed a few years back.

Kinda cheap when I think about it.  The boat dealer that I regularly buy from always give me a very nice jacket color matched with the boat when I spend $40K.
