To everyone that helped me through the questions that I had posted...........THANK YOU!!  And a BIG thanks to Grover (Mark) for finding this bike for me!!

One other question for you guys out there........does this bike already come equipped with the High/Low beam garage door opening feature?  I have the remote control receiver and the opener key fob.  I was told by the dealer that the bike is already equipped with the transmitter factory installed in the bike.  Is this true?

Thanks again to everyone!

I've got the same model and once you set it up right, the garage door opener works like a charm..........congrats on the bike. Great choice and a very good deal..............

So the bike has some sort of transmitter already installed that will activate the door by switching the High/Low beam on and off?  Where is this located?  The only physical things that I recieved were the opener key fob and the opener reciever that you mount on the wall and connect between the existing garage opener button.  When you look in the HD parts book, they show a "remote control garage door opener transmitter - part #91561-01A.........is this what is already factory wired to the bike?

Thanks

Maybe I'm wrong, but if the garage door receiver is a gray box that plugs into an electrical outlet and has a wire hanging out, that is the only thing I needed to get the garage door opener to be triggered by hitting the high-low switch for the lights.  If you have the owners manual, it will show you how to set it up (not really hard at all, but I needed my wife to hit the high-low switch while I pressed the button on the receiver.

Do you have an owners manual?

Yes, I have the owner's manual.  I was reading through that, but am unsure as to whether or not the bike already comes equipped with whatever it is that allows the High/Low beam switch to activate opening the door (outside of the the box that gets plugged in and mounted inside the garage).

Since it was a standard feature for the 2006 CVO, I would assume the transmitter is already somewhere in the fairing.........

Congratulations on the new bike.  The transmitter is located in the fairing and it's ready to go, just wire the receiver to your garage door opener and pair it to the bike per the instructions in the owners manual and you're set.

Tbone's right.  Don't sweat it, just try it out.  It should already be paired with the receiver if it's been used but it's a simple do.  You'll love that feature.  It works better that the one in my car.  Congratulations on the bike.  Were you able to get him any lower or was the deal as stated in the first posts?

Tough crowd!  The motor on the 06 is a 103... not generally prone to head gasket failure....
